According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as of January 25, 2022, 98 students from Rwanda studied at higher education institutions in Ukraine; as of January 1, 2024, - 2 students.

Ukraine has the potential to become an important partner of Rwanda in training Rwandan engineering personnel, which is one of the promising areas of bilateral cooperation.
