The meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Rwanda, Viacheslav Yatsiuk, with the Minister of Information Communication Technology and Innovation of Rwanda, Paula Ingabire, held on September 9, 2025, was dedicated to the importance of launching meaningful cooperation between Ukraine and Rwanda in high-tech industry.

During the meeting, possible projects and potential areas of Ukrainian-Rwandan cooperation in the field of IT and high technologies were discussed in detail. Over the past decades, Rwanda has established itself as one of the leaders of innovative development on the African continent, which opens up significant opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation with Ukrainian companies and enterprises.

Viacheslav Yatsiuk expressed gratitude to Minister Ingabire for supporting the proposal to hold a number of sectoral consultations in the near future between concerned institutions and companies of the two states to define priority projects for future cooperation.
